Prom pics, dress up pics at rising park
I figure being so excited, people are happy to have pics of them, because they n their pals are in em
I always notice things about photos .. what I think would make them the best.
Does LHS have a photography club or year book staff.. bet they do and would be great at helping kids get great photos.
Seeing a bunch of em swarming by the gazebo to take pics. In bright sun, squinting and shining
In the afternoon on the south side of the pond it is shady. Standing there with the fountain behind em, maybe a bit of flash.. great pics.
When it is bright and people are under the gazebo their features vanish in shade but a bit of fill in flash, helps lots.
Taking pics under trees on sunny days, often there are bright spots and spiderweb shadows on their faces. Solid shade is best.
Bottom right , last year I spotted these guys.. thinking but didn't ..
Also just above the gazebo is the big shelter house, often empty but a great place to take photos, you could even reserve it for your special photo taking days 😋
Might even have music n little gatherings.
If you know anyone on a yearbook staff or photography club, put your heads together n make a plan stan

Yearbooks
In my days there were those who captured some candids of the kids but mostly sports events, proms n mug shots of everyone.
Kind of the same thing now but photos, everything is recorded to digital bites on a hard drive
The end up as jpg this and video clip of that .
Looking through groups, people looking for old year books. After they are gone, family members sometimes donate their yearbooks.
Lets say everything placed in paper year books was composed of 500 digital files. A cd or usb can contain much more info than that and be in bright clear images.
Instead or along with the paper year books schools could offer custome cds or usb 'books'. They would contain all the stuff put in the 'regular' year books but any student could paste their favorite memories, their pals the fun stuff.
They could contain pics of the kids from the first time they got on the bus, pics of them in the stands with their pals.
CDs including everyone
So easy and less that $2 a copy.

I like to inspire kids entering their senior year to create a graduation video.
You can integrate video clips and still pics and combine them with music.
If you make it too long very few people will get to the end.
I like to make them the length of a song. For you guys, Friends Forever is a great sound track.
* Collect pics of your last summer before entering the senior year.
* Through out the year will be events you are in or attend, collect pics up till graduation n when u r in that, someone will collect the last shots.
Video clips.. edited to about 10 secs. You n your pals will have your memories jogged as soon as it pops up.
The song is about 5 1/2 minutes long... hypothetical example, say there is one minute of video clips.. leaving 4 minutes for stills.
4 x 60 = 240 secs for still clips.
I like my stills to be displayed for 3 secs = 80
With this arrangement you could have 80 pics and a minute video in your graduation song,

Now for the song, you don't take a canned copy but your gang sings it together.
You likely have kids that play all kind of instruments.
Upload it to youtube and I am telling you, it will be watched over n over for years to come :)
